Around 1:25 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Harbour Road when the rider, a 63 year old Sandy's parish man, lost control attempting to negotiate a bend in the road and collided with a wall. The Sandy's parish man was taken to KEMH for treatment of facial injuries, abrasions to his hands and an injury to his right shoulder. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The motorcycle received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 2:20pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Morer Estate Road, Smith's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 1:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his residence while he was away from the premises. The culprit stole several items of gold jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
