The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 35 year old Edward Dill. Around 2 this morning, Police received a report of a stabbing at a Cedar Park Road, Devonshire residence. Police attended the residence a short time later and found the victim, a 35 year old Pembroke man, lying outside on the steps leading to the upper apartment in an unresponsive state. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance, but subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The Pembroke man was pronounced dead at 2:22am by an on call physician at the hospital. The suspect, a 25 year old Devonshire woman, was arrested at the scene, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained. The suspect and the victim were known to each other. An investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-4315. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries. There were also 17 reported damage only road traffic collisions and 10 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
