Burglary

At 7:30pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Wellington Back Road, St. George's residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7am and 7pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a DVD player and a Sanyo stereo. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 8:35am on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Tankard Lane, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 11pm on Wednesday and 6:30am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole two wallets containing a total of $130 in cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Traffic Checks
The Bermuda Police Service in conjunction with the Transport Control Department (TCD) conducted checks on vehicles traveling on Crow Lane in Pembroke this morning. This is an ongoing initiative targeting unlicensed & uninsured vehicles as well as any other traffic related offences.
