Robbery

At 9:35am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported robbery on Parsons Road in Pembroke. On arrival the victim, a 39 year old Hamilton parish man, was being taken to KEMH via ambulance. Officers then attended the hospital and spoke with the victim, who stated that earlier he was walking east on Parsons Road; then he started to walk along Glebe Road. As he walked on Glebe Road, he took $200 in cash out of his pocket to count it and was struck in the back. He fell to the ground where 3 or 4 individuals beat him about the head & body with baseball bats before taking the $200 in cash. The unknown assailants then made good their escape, possibly in a car. The Hamilton parish man was unable to describe the individuals who assaulted him and is currently being treated at KEMH for facial injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Missing Juvenile - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 16 year old Rayshun Edwards of Pembroke. Edwards, who was last seen at his Euclid Avenue, Pembroke home on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 7pm returned to his mother's residence yesterday of his own accord safe and well.
