Robbery - Around 10:50pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a robbery. It appears that the victims, a 31 year old Pembroke man and a 19 year old Sandy’s parish man, got off a bus at the junction of Somerset Road and Scott’s Hill Road in Sandy’s parish. Another unknown man also got off the bus at that time. As the two men walked along Somerset Road the unknown man approached them wearing a black helmet with a metallic visor and brandishing a bladed article. The suspect demanded the men’s cellular phones which they gave to him (a gold BlackBerry Curve & a red BlackBerry Curve). A second unknown man on a motorcycle then appeared and both suspects made good their escape on the motorcycle. The victims were not injured. The main suspect is described as light skinned of medium/thick build, approximately 5’10” tall weighing around 200 pounds, clean shaven with a round face and black hair worn in a ponytail; at the time he was wearing a white T-shirt, light blue jeans, white sneakers and is believed to be in his 20s. The secondary suspect is described as dark skinned, approximately 6’ tall with a long pointed face; at the time he was wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue jeans and is also believed to be in his 20s. Both suspects made good their escape on a blue Honda motorcycle. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.

Missing Juvenile - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Tynieka Bean. She was located on Tuesday and is safe and well.

Burglary

Around 2pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Spice Hill Road, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 12 noon and 12:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a 26” Samsung flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
