Fatal RTC - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 79 year old Ivor Reid of St. George’s. Around 5:15pm Friday, Police received a report of a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision on Mullet Bay Rd in St. George's. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Mullet Bay Road when the rider, a 79 year old St. George's man, lost control and collided with a wall. EMTs gave the victim CPR at the scene before he was rushed to KEMH via ambulance; however, the St. George's man was subsequently pronounced dead at 6:05pm that day by an on call physician at the hospital. Inquiries are ongoing. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.
The death of Ivor Reid marks the 6th road traffic fatality for 2009.
Missing Juvenile – Found
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Tynieka Bean. She was found safe and well by Police in Sandy’s parish around 4:15pm Friday.
