Suspicious Circumstances

At 9:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a report of suspicious circumstances at the junction of Parsons Road and Fentons Drive in Pembroke. On arrival officers observed a pool of blood in the road; however, there was no one present at the scene. Officers subsequently attended KEMH to ascertain if anyone had attended the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Their inquiries led to the apparent victim, a 34 year old Devonshire man, who was at KEMH receiving treatment for a laceration to his lip and a laceration to his right forearm. It appeared that his injuries were the result of an assault; however, the Devonshire man refused Police assistance, insisting he had been involved in a road traffic collision. Therefore, no further Police action was taken.

Burglary

At 2:30 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Bluebell Lane, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that earlier that morning she discovered an unknown man inside her home. Once discovered, the culprit made good his escape with a beige ladies handbag. The suspect is described as a man of slim build, wearing a grey hooded top and blue pants. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 1:35 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Heritage Lane, Sandy's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 1:20am she was awoken by a light in the study area. When she went to investigate, she discovered a man of slim build wearing a grey hooded top in the room. The culprit then made good his escape as the complainant called for her husband. Nothing was reported stolen from the home. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

At 3:20pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported theft from a Lighthouse Road, Southampton construction site. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6pm on Wednesday and 7am on Thursday, an unknown culprit or culprits stole a grey mortar & concrete multi-mixer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Ashley Simons of Sandy's parish. She was found safe and well yesterday.
