Injury RTC

Around 6:55pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Aldie Drive involving a rental cycle and a truck. It appears that the rental cycle was traveling east on Middle Road and the truck was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 29 year old Smith’s parish woman, sustained head as well as internal injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. The driver of the truck, a 42 year old Warwick man, was not injured. The rental cycle received extensive front end damage while the truck was not damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 9pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Warwickshire Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:30am and 8:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Toshiba laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Peach Tree Lane, Sandy’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7:15am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black Zune MP3 player and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Sleepy Hollow Drive, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:30am and 3:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver digital clock radio, a black I-Pod speaker set, a silver men’s watch and other personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
