Injury RTC/Impaired Driving - At 1:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget. It appears that a car was traveling west on Harbour Road when the driver, a 29 year old Southampton man, lost control and collided with the sidewalk causing the vehicle to overturn. The Southampton man sustained abrasions to his left hand; however he declined medical attention. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. The car received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 9:15pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Mullet Bay Road, St. George’s residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 7:45am and 4pm on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry and cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 2 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 4 reported burglaries. There were also 13 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 10 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 2 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
