Injury RTC-Around 9:35pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Ord Road in Warwick near the junction with Banana Lane. It appears that a car was traveling east on Ord Road when the driver, an 18 year old Warwick man, lost control and collided with a parked car. The Warwick man and his male front seat passenger sustained head contusions. The eastbound car received extensive front end damage while the parked car received extensive rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 6:30pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Cote West, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash, DVDs and electronic equipment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 11:20am on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a South Breakers Road, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that she left home around 7:20am that day and returned around 11am only to discover an unknown man in her home. She confronted the intruder but he managed to make good his escape on foot with a ladies two tone bracelet, despite being pursued. The suspect is described as a young yellow skinned male, approximately 5’7” tall of medium build wearing a green camouflage sweat top. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
