Missing Person

The Bermuda Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 30 year old Mehdi David Yahi. Mr. Yahi, a French national visiting the island is described as a white male, approximately 5’7” tall of slim build, clean shaven with black hair. He apparently arrived in Bermuda on Sunday, January 25th 2009 via British Airways and was reported missing at 9:10 this morning after some of his personal effects were found on the beach at Chaplin Bay in Warwick. A subsequent search of the coastline in that area by Marine Police and land based Police units failed to locate Mr. Yahi; however, it appears that there have been no official sightings of Mr. Yahi since his arrival on the island. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Mehdi David Yahi is encouraged to contact the main Police number, 295-0011.
