The Bermuda Police Service will be formally introducing the new PROMAT Video Identification process as an additional method of witnesses identifying a suspect as of Wednesday, August 1st. There are a total of 22,000 volunteer images on the system which includes some 470 local Bermudians. This will drastically improve the time taken to organize such a procedure and save Police resources in trying to organize a line-up parade. |
