Burglary

At 5:50pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Mount Hope Lane, Smith's parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole two gold ladies watches and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Barrack Close, St. George's residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:15am and 4:40pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 8:25am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Cobbs Hill Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 3pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a blue Motorola cellular phone, a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 2:45pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a theft from an unattended vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime earlier in the day an unknown culprit gained entry into his car which as parked on Elliot Street in Pembroke and stole a small quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

This was one of four similar incidents reported to Police involving theft from vehicles parked in the Pembroke area on Tuesday. Police are asking individuals to make sure their vehicles are securely locked before leaving them unattended and to be vigilant for suspicious individuals loitering in parking areas.
