At 9:55pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision at the junction of Church Street and Parliament Street in the City of Hamilton involving two cars. It appears that a silver Suzuki was traveling east on Church Street and a red Renault was traveling north on Parliament Street when the vehicles collided at the junction after the eastbound car ignored a red traffic light. Both vehicles were extensively damaged; however, neither driver was injured.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 5 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 6 reported burglaries. There were also 17 reported damage only road traffic collisions and 6 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury.
