Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a disturbance that occurred in the City of Hamilton around 10:45pm on Sunday, where Police observed a group of men on CCTV attacking a lone man on Reid Street near the junction with Burnaby Street. One of the assailants was armed with a bladed article. Officers arrested four men in the area as they attempted to escape in a car and a bladed article was recovered nearby. The suspects, a 21 year old Southampton man, a 23 year old Warwick man and two 20 year old men from Southampton remain in Police custody. The victim, a 26 year old Pembroke man, was treated at KEMH for lacerations to his face, right arm and body and subsequently released.
