Burglary

Around 9:10pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Sound View Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:25am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a gold ring, a gold chain with a medallion and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:05am on Sunday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Harbour Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1:30am and 8:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 6:15pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a theft from a Cemetery Road, Pembroke premises. The complainant stated that sometime between 2pm on Friday and 4:30pm on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises and stole 4 sheets of three quarter inch thick 4 x 8 mahogany plywood. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there was 1 person arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 10 reported burglaries (1 in St. Georges, 5 in Pembroke, 2 in Warwick, 1 in Southampton and 1 in Sandys parish). There were also 23 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 8 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 9 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent (all motorcycles).
