Injury RTC

Around 8 this morning, Police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trinity Church Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with North Shore Road, involving a car and a motorcycle. Details about the collision remain unclear at this time; however, it is believed the rider of the motorcycle, a 42 year old man, sustained a broken femur. As a result, he was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision or anyone with any information to contact the Traffic Enforcement Unit on 299-4265 or the main Police number, 295-0011.

Burglary

At 11:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Treadway Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 11pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black HP laptop computer (brand new, still in the box), a 'boom box' and a DVD player. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 10:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants, who are visitors to the island. They stated that sometime between 7:25pm and 9:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their room while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 17" silver/grey laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:30pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Blue Hole Hill, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 6:30am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash, a PlayStation video game system, 3 PlayStation games and one DVD. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
