Burglary

Police responded to a report of burglary that took place at Verdmont Valley. That complainant states that she left her home secure at 8:15 yesterday morning only to return for lunch at 12:45pm when she noticed a bike parked under the trees just across from her driveway. She then saw two young black males getting on a scooter with a large black Dewalt drill case in their possession. It appears that the young men gained entry to her home and stole the drill and 3 gold coloured rings, a white pearl necklace and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects are described as 2 young looking black males in their late teens or early 20s, about 58" tall, medium to dark complexioned; one with braids but both were wearing long white t-shirts and baggy shorts. They left the area on a white, tangerine and chrome colored Vespa scooter. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 12:22 pm yesterday Police attended Coco Reefs in Paget and spoke with the manager who reported that a guest returned to his room at 9:45 am taking off his pants which contained his wallet.The guest then went onto the porch; however whilst on the porch he heard noises coming from his room. He went to check his room and it was then he noticed that someone had made off with his pants which contained his wallet.In the wallet was an undisclosed amount of cash and personal effects. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
