Vehicle Fire

At 4:05 this morning, Police received a report of a vehicle on fire at Bakery Lane in Pembroke. Officers arrived at the scene a short time later and observed three vehicles ablaze. The two cars and an auxiliary cycle were extensively damaged as a result. The Bermuda Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and an investigation into the incident is underway.

Burglary

Around 7:05pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at an Inghams Vale, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9:30am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an X-Box video game system. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 10:10am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Deepdale Road East, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 2:30pm and 6:05pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 3:15pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported theft from a Turkey Hill, St. Georges construction site. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around 2:55pm that day, an unknown culprit used a vehicle to remove a quantity of tiles and two aluminum windows from the property. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
