Police are appealing for any witnesses to an incident where a man purportedly was wielding a knife at the Ferry Terminal on Monday December 3rd at around 5pm, which resulted in the man being arrested and being put before the Courts.There were a number of individuals who were in the area at the time and we are asking for witnesses to this incident to please contact Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.


Meantime, at 10:18pm yesterday Police were on duty at BAA field in Pembroke when they were informed that a player was spit upon by a spectator resulting in the offending party being asked to leave the field.This resulted in the suspect picking up a bottle and throwing it at opposing fans; no one was injured however.Back up units were called for crowd control and everything was under control upon Police departure. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
