Around 6:40pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a fire at A.S. Cooper Home on Church Street in the City of Hamilton. The Bermuda Fire Service was already at the scene and subsequently extinguished the fire, which was confined to the A.S. Cooper Home section of the building. There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this time. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Weekend Activity
Over the weekend there were 5 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries. There were also 21 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 8 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 6 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent.
