Injury RTC

Around 5pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Montpelier Road involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car exited a driveway on to Middle Road and the motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road when the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 39 year old Pembroke woman, sustained abrasions to her left leg. The driver of the car, a 76 year old Devonshire woman, was not injured. Both vehicles received relatively minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Damage Only RTC

Around 4:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on the Causeway in St. Georges. It appears that an auxiliary cycle was traveling east on the Causeway when the rider, a 17 year old Southampton woman, lost control on the bridge and fell to the ground. The Southampton woman was not injured; however, the cycle received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Vehicle Located

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the red vehicle adapted for persons with disabilities that was removed from outside ‘Summer Haven during the early morning hours of Tuesday. The vehicle was recovered at 5:45pm on Wednesday across from the A.M.E. church on Harrington Sound Road in Smiths parish and returned to its rightful owner.
