Around 2:30 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Lane Hill and Crow Lane in Pembroke. It appears that the car was traveling east on Crow Lane when the driver, a 41 year old Smiths parish man, lost control and collided with the wall along Lane Hill. The Smiths parish man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. The 41 year old man sustained cuts and bruising to his forehead; however he refused medical treatment. The car received extensive front end damage and a damaged front windshield.
