Vehicle Overboard

Around 6:55 this morning, Police received a report of a submerged vehicle at Somerset Bridge dock. Details of how the car, a silver Ford Focus, ended up overboard are unclear at this time; however the driver, a 31 year old Sandys parish man, was subsequently located and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He was taken to Hamilton Police Station where he failed the alco-analyser test. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

Burglary

Around 2:25 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a St. Annes Road, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:45pm on Saturday and 2am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 12:25pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a First Avenue, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between midnight and 9am on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his apartment. The culprit stole a wallet containing a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 8:50pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a St. Johns Hill, Pembroke residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry and a PlayStation 2 video game system. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
