Burglary

Around 6:40pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Footbridge Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 6:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 7:50am on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Glenwood Park Crescent, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10pm on Wednesday and 4am on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a tan leather handbag containing a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Appeal
In January, Police executed a search warrant at a Smiths parish residence. At that time, officers seized a large silver 1500 watt floodlight. Attached to the floodlight is a box. The make of this box is ‘Hubbell. Inquiries have been made with the islands sporting clubs, but so far to no avail. Anyone with any information about this item is encouraged to contact the St. Georges Criminal Investigation Unit at Southside Police Station on 278-5105 or 293-2222 so that the floodlight can be returned to its rightful owner.
