Burglary

Around 8pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Middle Terrace, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7am and 7:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a grey 19” plasma TV and a white I-Pod Nano. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:55pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Shore Road, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9:30am and 4pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and six DVDs. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 3:15pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Railway Trail, Sandys parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime around 1:30pm that day, unknown culprits gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprits stole a 52” flat screen TV and a Nintendo Wii video game system. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service has noticed a recent increase in burglaries across the island, particularly during the day time.
