Robbery

Police responded to a report of a robbery that took place at just after 2 this morning on Court Street in Pembroke. It appears that the victim made his way to a bar on Court Street and had a “few drinks”; he then walked outside of the liquor licensed premises where he was approached by a man who snatched a one hundred dollar bill out of his hands and then ran back into the liquor license premises. The victim then went back into the bar to find the thief who had made his way into the bathroom. The suspect and victim exchanged words, however four other men came into the bathroom and began to beat the victim about his body, resulting in the victim being left unconscious outside of the bathroom.  Once the victim regained consciousness he noticed that $900 dollars was missing from his wallet. He was taken to KEMH where he was treated and released. Inquires into this incident are underway.
