Sudden Death

Foul play has been ruled out in the death of 87 year old Grace Cross of Sandys parish. The investigation into the cause of the fire at her Scotts Hill Road, Sandys parish residence on Tuesday is ongoing.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 35 year old Shandal Richardson of Southampton. Mr. Richardson was found in a non-responsive state at the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute around 2:55am Wednesday and was subsequently pronounced dead by an on call physician at KEMH at 3:09am Wednesday. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and an autopsy is anticipated.
Robbery
Around 9:20pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a robbery at Lindos Market on Watlington Road East in Devonshire. It appears that the victim, a 28 year old Pembroke man, was assaulted by a group of unknown men while using the stores ATM machine. The four suspects removed the victims IBM laptop computer, black LG cellular phone, black I-Pod, dark blue helmet and a quantity of cash before making good their escape. It is unclear whether or not the Pembroke man was injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
