Injury RTC

At 4pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Cable Hill involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling east on North Shore Road and the motorcycle was traveling in the same direction behind the car when the car came to a stop due to traffic and the vehicles collided. The rider of the motorcycle, an 83 year old Smiths parish man, was injured and taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. He is currently in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The driver of the car, a 34 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. Both vehicles received damage to multiple areas. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 6:05pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Warwick Lane, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 5:50pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black I-Pod Nano, a Sony PSP and a pair of gold earrings. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
