Injury RTC

Around 1:45 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Dock Hill. It appears that the car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 23 year old Pembroke woman lost control, causing the car to cross into the eastbound lane and collide with a wall. The 23 year old complained of pain to her chest and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and later released. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The cars front seat passenger, a 30 year old Pembroke woman, sustained a laceration to her face and complained of pain to her lower back. She was also taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and is currently in stable condition. The car received damage to its front windscreen as well as front and rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Over the weekend there was 1 person arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries (2 in St. Georges, 1 in Hamilton parish, 1 in Devonshire, 1 in Paget, 1 in Warwick and 1 in Southampton). There were also 16 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 7 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 7 vehicles reported taken without their owners consent.
