Burglary

Around 12:15 this morning, Police attended a reported burglary at a Pipers Peak, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that around midnight an unknown man gained entry into her home. She confronted the suspect and he made good his escape with a black diaper bag containing a black leather purse with a pink dog pattern, a quantity of cash and personal items. The suspect is described as a black male of medium build with a bald head, wearing black pants and a black top. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:20pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a St. Davids Road, St. Georges residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:40am and 6:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Windgap Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9:15am and 5:35pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a HP laptop computer, a silver Kodak camera, a pink Nokia cellular phone and a black Nokia cellular phone. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Witness Appeal

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for witnesses to an incident which left a man lying in the road on Tween Walls, Sandys parish near the junction with Heritage Lane. The injured individual, a 36 year old Sandys parish man, was taken to KEMH via ambulance where he remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit with serious head injuries. In particular, we would like to speak with anyone who may have been in the area of Tween Walls and Heritage Lane in Sandys parish around 12:40am Thursday or anyone who may have seen or heard anything to contact PC Jodi Eve at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010 or on the main Police number, 295-0011.
