At 10:20pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Pembroke outside ‘Great Things involving a taxi and a motorcycle. It appears that the taxi was traveling east on Crow Lane with the motorcycle traveling in the same direction behind it when the taxi attempted a u-turn and the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 38 year old Devonshire man, was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of a serious injury to his left leg and abrasions to his head and body. He is currently in stable condition on a general ward. The driver of the taxi, a 74 year old Devonshire man, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the taxi received extensive damage to its right side. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 9am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Pembroke involving two motorcycles. It appears that the two motorcycles were both traveling west on Crow Lane when one attempted to overtake a stationary car and the cycles collided. The female rider of one of the cycles was injured as a result. The 18 year old Sandys parish woman sustained a neck injury and bruising and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Her cycle received minor damage. The rider of the other cycle, a 27 year old Southampton man, was not injured, nor was his cycle damaged.
