Injury RTC

Around 4 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Doctors Lane in Hamilton parish. It appears that the car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 27 year old Hamilton parish man, lost control attempting to negotiate a sharp left hand bend. As a result the car struck the sidewalk and overturned. The driver of the car was apparently not injured, however, the cars front seat passenger, a 26 year old St. Georges man, sustained a fractured left arm. Both men attended KEMH; the St. Georges man was treated for his injury and the Hamilton parish man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained, after failing the alco-analyser test. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 7:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Forest Hill Drive, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 9am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1:30pm and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 4:30pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Southbend Lane, Sandys parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime earlier that day, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit(s) stole a quantity of electronic equipment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
