Around 3:15 this morning, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Happy Valley Road in Pembroke, near the junction with Tribe Road #1. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling east on Happy Valley Road when the rider, a 25 year old Pembroke man, lost control and collided with a fence. The Pembroke man was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of head injuries. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at KEMH. The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision or anyone with any information to contact PC Derek Simmons on 295-0011.
