Injury RTC

At 4:55pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Happy Valley Road and Deepdale Road West in Pembroke involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling south on Deepdale Road West and the motorcycle was traveling east on Happy Valley Road when the vehicles collided at the junction. The rider of the motorcycle, a 19 year old Paget man, sustained lacerations to his left knee. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 27 year old Devonshire woman, was not injured. Both vehicles received moderate front end damage.

Burglary

Around 4:40pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Jennings Road, Smiths parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 4:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
