Suspicious Device

Around 2:45pm today, Police responded to a report of a suspicious explosive device at the Dellwood Middle School. It is believed that the device was a primitive, home made item made up of household chemicals. No one was injured and the student suspected of making the device is being dealt with by school officials and Police.


Update - Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 58 year old Allan William Dill of Pembroke. Mr. Dill's unresponsive body was found in the area of Par La Ville car park, outside the W. J. Boyle building on Church Street in Pembroke around 8 this morning. He was subsequently pronounced dead at 9:20am by an on call physician at the scene. An investigation into the death of Mr. Dill is ongoing; however, at this time there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Dill on his untimely passing.
