Assault

Around 5:50 this morning, Police received a report of an assault on Union Street in Pembroke. The victim, a 25 year old Southampton man, stated that around 5:40am he was approached by an unknown man as he was about to enter the B.I.U. building. The suspect brandished a bladed article and verbally threatened the Southampton man before making good his escape on foot. The Southampton man was not injured. The bladed article, which was apparently dropped by the suspect as he fled, was recovered by officers at the scene. The suspect is described as a dark skinned male, approximately 5’6” tall weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing dark coloured clothing. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information about this incident to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Missing Juvenile – Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 16 year old Tyneika Bean. The teenager was located at a Cochrane Road, Sandy’s parish residence around 2pm on Thursday safe and well.

Missing Juvenile

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to ask for the public’s assistance in locating 15 year old Travis Lowe. The teenager was last seen in the Devonshire area on Tuesday, August 26. He is described as light skinned, 5’3” tall weighing approximately 110 lbs, with black hair and is known to frequent the Happy Valley, Pembroke area. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 15 year old Travis Lowe is encouraged to contact the Child Victims Unit on 295-0011.

Burglary

Around 4pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Harbour Road, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1pm and 3:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 15” TV, a Dell laptop computer, an I-Pod, a quantity of jewelry and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:50pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a South Road, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1:30pm on Wednesday and 12:45pm on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the residence while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver 46” Sony flat screen TV and a silver 32” Sony flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
