Missing Juvenile - Found
The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Seanae Smith of Sandy’s parish. The teenager attended Somerset Police Station at 8pm on Monday of her own accord and is safe and well.
Robbery
Around 7:10pm on Monday, Police received a report of a robbery. It appears that the victim, an 18 year old Devonshire man, was riding his motorcycle in the Tucker’s Point, St. George’s area when he stopped to speak with a female standing at the side of the road. While speaking to her, two unknown young black men drove up in a white truck, assaulted the victim, put his bike in the back of the truck and made good their escape. However, the Devonshire man subsequently recovered his cycle and requested no further Police action. This incident illustrates the challenges faced by Police when a crime has taken place and the victim is reluctant to follow through by making a formal complaint.
