Burglary

At 4:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a South Road, Paget residence. The complainants stated that they left their apartment around 10:50pm on Thursday and returned 15 minutes later to discover an unknown man outside their apartment. On seeing the couple return, the unknown man made good his escape on foot. The complainants later discovered that someone had gained entry into the apartment and stolen a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 9:30am on Friday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Paget guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that sometime between 2:30am and 7:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their cottage. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry and cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
