Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving

At 1:10 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision on St. John’s Road in Pembroke. It appears that the car was traveling east on St. John’s Road when the driver, a 24 year old Devonshire man, lost control and collided with a wall. The Devonshire man was not injured nor was his front seat passenger, a 20 year old Hamilton parish woman. The car received extensive front end damage. The driver of the car was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 5pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Barrack Street, St. George’s residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 8:45am and 3:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 10:40am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cobbs Hill Road, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am on Tuesday and midnight on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry, a black Motorola cellular phone and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
