Burglary

At 9:10pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Spring Hill, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 6:55am and 8:50pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a PlayStation 2 video game system as well as several DVDs, CDs and PlayStation games. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:20pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at an Ord Road, Warwick residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a silver 42" Panasonic plasma TV with remote and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 6:25pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Euclid Avenue, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 5:30am and 4:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Activity

Between 8am on Wednesday and 8am on Friday, there were 3 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries (1 in Smith's parish, 2 in Pembroke, 1 in Paget and 3 in Warwick). There were also 15 reported damage only road traffic collisions and 8 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury. The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their co-operation during May 24th which was relatively quiet with no major incidents reported.
