Injury RTC

Around 8:20pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Seon Drive involving a car and a pedestrian. It appears that the car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the pedestrian ran into the road and collided with the side of the vehicle. The pedestrian, a 41 year old man of no fixed abode who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, sustained abrasions to the face as a result. He initially refused medical treatment; however, he was subsequently convinced by Police to attend KEMH where he was treated for his injuries and released. The driver of the car, a 63 year old Devonshire man, was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact PC Ronald Richards on 295-0011.

Theft

At 3:40pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported theft from West Pembroke Primary School on North Shore Road in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the school custodian who stated that at 5pm on Monday he discovered a compressor missing from the premises. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 8:15am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported theft from a Mullet Bay Road, St. George's residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 10:40pm on Monday and 7:30am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his garage and stole a pink 24" 'Tiara' pedal cycle. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
