Around 10:35pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on My Lord’s Bay Road in Hamilton parish, near the junction with My Lord’s Bay Drive. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling south on My Lord’s Bay Road when the rider, a 39 year old Hamilton parish woman, negotiated a bend and collided with the rear of a parked black truck. As a result the Hamilton parish woman sustained a broken left leg and a laceration to her left ankle. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The cycle was extensively damaged. The parked black truck, which was unoccupied at the time, was not damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 5:05pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Douglas Drive, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 4:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a grey and black HP laptop computer, a pink Olympus digital camera and a white Apple I-Pod with speakers. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 5pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at another Douglas Drive, Smith’s parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8:25am and 5pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black & silver I-Pod specially modified for a child with autism, a standard I-Pod Shuffle, a HP laptop computer, a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 4:10pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Lulworth Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1:20pm and 3:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 42” Samsung flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
