Around 8:10pm on Monday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of North Shore Road and Aubrey Road in Hamilton parish involving a car and a jeep. It appears that the car and jeep were traveling east on North Shore Road, with the car in front of the jeep. When they reached the junction with Aubrey Road, the driver of the car, a 30 year old Hamilton parish woman, stopped and indicated her intention to turn. The driver of the jeep, a 23 year old Warwick man, was unable to stop in time and collided into the rear of the car. The Warwick man was not injured while the Hamilton parish woman sustained back, neck and head injuries. The car received extensive rear end damage and the jeep received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

It appears that a car was traveling east on North Shore Road when the driver, a 38 year old Smith’s parish woman lost control and collided with an embankment, causing the car to overturn. The Smith’s parish woman was not injured; however her passenger, a 10 year old girl, sustained a minor injury to her left leg. She was taken to KEMH via ambulance, treated and released. The car received damage to multiple areas. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
