Injury RTC

Around 12 noon on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Tulo Lane in Pembroke near the junction with St. John’s Road, involving a truck and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling north on Tulo Lane and the truck was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the cycle, a 54 year old Smith’s parish man, sustained lacerations and bruising to his legs and neck as well as suspected internal injuries. The male driver of the truck was not injured. The cycle was extensively damaged while the truck received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 5:50pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Wreck Road, Sandy’s parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime earlier that day an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit(s) stole a Panasonic 42” flat screen TV, a Fijitsu laptop computer, an I-Pod and I-Pod docking station, a cordless phone, 2 BlackBerry ‘Pearl’ cellular phones and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 2:40pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Loyal Hill Pass, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8am and 2pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

All incidents are under investigation.
