Injury RTC

Around 6:55 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Rose Hill Road in Southampton involving an auxiliary cycle and a car. It appears that the car and the auxiliary cycle were traveling east on Middle Road with the car in front of the cycle. The car attempted to make a right turn on to Rose Hill Road and the cycle collided into the rear of the car. The rider of the cycle, a 56 year old Sandy’s parish man, sustained a knee injury. The driver of the car, a 40 year old Southampton woman, was not injured. The cycle was extensively damaged while the car received rear end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Damage Only RTC

At 11:40am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on South Road in Warwick near Marley Beach Cottages involving three cars. It appears that all three vehicles were traveling east on South Road when the drivers of all three vehicles applied brakes due to cones in the eastbound lane. As a result the third car collided with the rear of the second car which then collided with the rear of the first car. None of the three women drivers were injured. The lead car received moderate rear end damage; the middle car received moderate front and rear end damage while the trailing car received minor front end damage.
