The Marine Police Unit assisted by Police divers from the Underwater Search & Rescue Team attended the area as well as Police officers on land. Police personnel conducted a thorough search of the shoreline area and inshore waters which lasted into the early hours of Tuesday; however, Mr. Berkeley was not located. The St. George’s man was not injured; however he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The car received moderate front end damage.
