At 8:10am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a damage only road traffic collision on Middle Road in Sandy's parish near the junction with Farmstead Lane. It appears that around 7:15am a white truck and a silver car were traveling west on Middle Road when a dark coloured motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction behind a bus overtook the bus, colliding with one of the truck's mirrors. As a result the mirror shattered, with the fragments striking the windscreen of the car behind, damaging it. There were no injuries to the driver of the truck or car, and the rider of the motorcycle did not stop. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information about the dark coloured motorcycle or the individual riding the cycle (believed to be a male wearing a heavy jacket) to contact Sergeant Jermaine Tucker on 234-1010.
