Around 11:45pm Friday, June 28th police officers responded to a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick, near the junction with Warwick Lane.

On arrival, a damaged and unoccupied white Toyota RAV4 was found parked on the grass verge of South Road, in the vicinity of Astwood Park.

Checks of the surrounding area and at the hospital did not locate the driver, whose identity is still unknown.

It also remains unclear if anyone else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash and whether any injuries were sustained or not.
