Two Motorcycles Collide in Pembroke, Both Riders Hurt [Updated]

Around 8:55am today (June 4th) police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and ambulance personnel responded to a reported collision involving two motorcycles on Parsons Road in Pembroke.

Early information indicates that one motorcyclist, said to be a 20 year old Pembroke man, was traveling west on Parsons Road while the other motorcyclist, said to be a 24 year old Pembroke man, was exiting Two Way Mews on to Parsons Road when they collided.

Both men were hurt – one apparently has a leg injury – and transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. However, their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.

Update: Wednesday, June 5th - Inquiries continue regarding a collision involving two motorcyclists that occurred around 8:55am Tuesday, June 4th at the junction of Parsons Road and Two Way Mews in Pembroke.

At last check this morning (June 5th) the injured 24 year old male motorcyclist involved was listed in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital, while the injured 20 year old male motorcyclist involved had been treated and discharged.

Community Meet & Greet Clinic in Paget on Thursday

The Parish Constable for Paget, Constable Roseann ‘Buffy’ Mienzer, will be conducting a community outreach clinic to meet and greet area residents Thursday, June 6th from 12 noon until 3pm at the A1 Paget grocery store on Valley Road.

33 Year Old Man Hurt in Collision Friday Morning Stable on General Ward

At last check this morning (June 4th), the 33 year old man injured in a collision involving two trucks around 9:20am Friday, May 31st on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish, near St. James Court, was listed in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
